Fluffy
http://bridgegod.com/playprob.php?probid=116 I don't wanna spoil anything, the hand is good, play it before commenting. Partner's bidding is not great, but the final contract/s are playable, hope you didn't let the beer block your grand!
Fluffy
In spannish we call it something like "the dwarves's coup", what is the english name?
Cyberyeti
I don't know why, I found playing the hand with the hands (particularly E and W) flipped after the auction very confusing in diagram form, and thought the wrong hand had the hearts (not that it should matter). Also you are semi railroading it to the contract you want to play and I understand why, but I'd be in something else, I wasn't allowed to bid my own suit in a forcing way over the initial double. Playing standard lebensohl: (Assuming pairs, teams would be in 7♦ I suspect as would just exclusion over 3♦) my auction would continue 3♦-3♠-4♠-5♥(exclusion)-5N(1/4)-6♣(Q?)-6♥(yes+A♥)-7N now there is no seduction into ruffing a club loser or blocking the diamonds when you have 13 cashing tricks as you can play diamonds before spades and keep the entry to the 5th one
Fluffy
Are you sure you'd want to bid a NF 3♦ with opening values opposite another?
gszes
easy time making 6s but felt the 4s bid was highly wrong as I would reach an easy 7d ifthe xer had bid 4h over my 3n. Needed too many things to go right to hazard 7s or 7nafter 4s over my 3n. Didnt really pay much attention to making 7 since I was not thereand I play so many IMPS looking for uptricks not a main concern for me the overwhelmingmajority of the time. I like the programming though keep up the good work.
Cyberyeti
Are you sure you'd want to bid a NF 3♦ with opening values opposite another?I was bidding a forcing 3♦, 2N then 3♦ would be the NF one
mike777
for most of us 3d shows some values but still NF. 2nt then 3d shows less such as zero.
mike777
over 3nt then 4s I bid 5h then 6d pard bid 6h I stopped in 6s...I thought pard could drive to 7 over 6d.
Fluffy
Partner really has an awful hand in context, he has only 5 spades, and very minimum in HCP.
