Zelandakh Posted November 11, 2013 Report Share Posted November 11, 2013 4NT presumably shows diamonds, so 5♦ is free to use as a slam try in hearts if you want. Without that agreement, I would think 4NT followed by 5♥ is the slam try with 5♦ natural; this way seems messier to me though. 5NT is surely pick a slam. The remaining hand type is a grand try with self-supporting clubs, so I guess that should be assigned to 5♠. Cherdano's approach does indeed look good.
