Behemont1
Team game, vul vs nonvul, on the first position you hold[hv=pc=n&n=s4h98752d7ckjt864]133|100[/hv]what is your bid?
wyman
pass, and I preempt with nearly everything. You have 4 losers outside of hearts. I see a lot of ways for you to preempt our side out of a vulnerable game (not to mention going for a number), and the upside is what -- preempting opps out of a nonvul game or slam, where they are in for some horrific breaks if they bid it? It would be batty to preempt with this hand imo. Hell ♥AKxx and ♣Q isn't even an opener for partner and I want to be in 4♥.
neilkaz
Obvious pass, even more so at these colors.
Lord Molyb
of course I pre-empt, I bid 2♥
P_Marlowe
assuming standard agreements: pass, intending to get in later tow show the 2-suiter.playing 2-suited openings: pass may still be best, since a later entry my tell p, thatyou have difference in suit quality. With kind regardsMarlowe
the_clown
At favourable I would open 3♣, else pass.
Hanoi5
Pass. I don't really care about the Vulnerability but it'll be good to know if they are the red ones or us. 6-5 is quite a strong hand, if the suits were inverted I would surely prempt with 3♥, even if red myself I'd say. SteveMoe
Multi 2[di}. If not available, then pass.
mycroft
2♥ Polish (hearts and a minor), if I have it. Otherwise, pass. Too easy to miss game in either suit if I mention one of them.
rmnka447
Pass, 2 ♥ might be number territory at IMPS and likely misses a club fit. 3 ♣ puts you in too much danger of missing an important ♥ fit. If you have a 2 suited bid which covers this hand, it's up to you what you do. I'd probably still pass.
jillybean
Multi 2[di}. If not available, then pass.Have you moved continents Steve? :)
Zelandakh
Multi 2[di}. If not available, then pass. Why would you open a Multi 2♦ but not a Weak 2♥? A Garbage Multi would be more understandable. In any case, outside of special agreements that we would have been given this is surely an easy pass.
