Changes to tourney software

added a link to older tourney results (leaderboards) in www.bridgebase.com/myhands

Pretty primitive, but it works. The main page shows the last 2 weeks of tourneys and team games.

The archives folder has the older results.

 

Fixed a bug

1) The tables in a clocked movement now close at the end of the last board, instead of waiting for the whole section to finish up

 

2) The web page that controls tourneys can no longer edit anything about a tourney except Host, Title, Description, Director once the tourney has started. This will prevent the crazy stuff that would happen if someone changed the movement from clocked to unclocked (or anything similar) once the tourney started.

 

3) The filenames of the older tourney leaderboards are now more meaningful

For instance,

Jun 24 15:05 Tue 20:05 GMT Matchpoint Pairs Host:uday Title:# 3 MP Mini ~1~3

instead of the current

1~1056489600~susieq~ 166 IMP Tourney.lin

 

4) Team games are now created CLOCKED, 10 minutes per board, to ensure that even an abandoned Team game will shut down eventually

Players in a team game can now use chat->tourney

I think this will be more fun. Also, now a player can, in a pinch,

use chat->tourney to tell the director what is wrong.

 

I usually suggest that each team game have 2 directors; one at each table.

Director-needed message is no longer "Modal" (meaning, you do not have to deal with it right away).

 

Invitation to play in a tourney now contains more information about the tourney and the invitor (name, country, profile)

 

Non yellow directors can now join tables in their tourney even if specs are disabled

 

Fixed bug that was ignoring silent-specs ; should now work for all 3.4.8 clients.
