MP or IMP, Vul? at MPs i would just bid 3♣ showing a fit, a ♥suit and about 10-12 total points. true, my hand is slightly better but I dont want to commit to game. any bid, that rules out 3nt is very bad. 2♦ is a possible alternative though on the agressive side. at IMPs (especially vul), we belong in game. 2♦ is best but continuation is difficult. You never showed Kxxx support in clubs?I don't feel good about passing 3nt with such good clubs and partner can still have such a wide range hand.
