iviehoff Posted October 23, 2013 Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 One could argue it wouldn't be absurd to ruff a heart high if declarer had also carelessly forgotten about the missing trump, in addition to forgetting which hand she was in, because then they might think it just didn't matter. But I think in this case I'm inclined to award both tricks to declarer, because I think that people rarely ruff high in such situations, even when they have forgotten the trump; so I think it just requires too many unlikely things for the defence to end up with a trick.
