Bbradley62
Double - 6Redouble - 6In first seat? Is this your way of saying that even illegal calls are better than opening 1♠, etc?
Bbradley62
I also pass. One of my all-time favorite hands is getting to 6♠ after my initial pass with:♠QTxxxxxx♥Kxxxx♦-♣-

Lord Molyb
I passed at the table, which I considered fairly obvious.[hv=pc=n&s=st98653haj986djc7&w=sahk752daq8753c86&n=skqjhtd9642cak954&e=s742hq43dktcqjt32]399|300[/hv]The bidding was:P - 1♦ - 2♣ - 2NT P - 3NT- API incorrectly (?) led a heart which allowed 9 tricks to come through.Every other table was in a spade contract making 10 tricks. The result was due to East making a horrible call that worked out. 2N was idiotic and had he passed, as would 100% of people who know how to play the game, you probably end up in spades, whether you bid them now or run after opener reopens with double, passed to you.
