You are playing NFBs. Is this hand for you still in range for 2, or is it too strong? What would be the maximum, what would be the minimum for you?

If it is too strong, how would you deal with this hand? Do you play a jump to 3 as forcing or invitational? X, then bidding spades is GF?

You say you play 2s as non-forcing and you ask ME what 3s is? Boy I really hope YOU know what 3s means otherwise you are in big trouble.

You must have some agreement about a direct 3s or a 2d cuebid followed by 3s.

Of course the hand is too strong for 2s, I need to know the difference between 3s and 2d followed by 3s to pick the right continuation.

Yes, but I am asking what your preferred agreement would be if you played NFB.

2 would show inv+ with club fit for me; do you want to make this a generic force?

Yes, if 2s is non forcing then the cuebid doesn't show club support.

Yes, I would like to be playing negative free bid when I am dealt this hand. Sure it has 10 hcp, but he QJx of clubs are not offensive cards on this auction, and the singleton in partners suit really is not a great sign either. Also the quality of the spades are only so-so... I would like better spots (I always want better spots). I think this hand is not as good as you are thinking it is if you think it might be too strong for a negative free bid.

Sorry I missunderstood the problem I though that pd overcalled 2c and we had to decide what to do... Singleton diamond in opener's suit and QJx of support looked awesome.

If the problem is the response by the 1d opener's pd then I think I agree a NF 2s is suitable all the good things for a 2c overcall make the hand bad after the 2c overcall :-)

That's why I was referring to a 2d cuebid :-)

NFB seems to describe the hand.
