I would bid 2H QJTx is quite a nice holding and partner should have some values for his X and we're a passed hand so we can't be that great

I would but I'm not confident that it'll end well. My hand is pretty putrid. But this is my only opportunity to make noise, so ill do it while the auction is low.

We need to throw in a 2♥ call before it's too late, and then we let partner decide what to do going forward. Partner could have the big hand at the table! If partner were passed I would think passing is more reasonable.

Slightly depends on agreements, people play double differently here, I play it for pens so would bid 2♥.

I'm bidding 2 ♥ here for a couple reasons.

 

You have 7 HCP -- quacks to be sure -- but 6 of the 7 are working together in honor combinations. Partner is an unpassed hand and has doubled, so the points ought to be fairly evenly distributed. You've got 2 honors and an intermediate in ♥s -- something good to tell partner about, so tell pard. Partner should consider that you might be bidding on a 4 card suit in any further bidding.

 

Second, if don't mention ♥s now, you may not find a ♥ fit later. Say you pass and LHO bids 2 ♠ followed by two passes. Now you'd have to bid 3 ♥ to probe for a ♥ fit. So you'll likely pass and let them play 2 ♠.
