Doubling is probably worst, partner will take it out when he has diamond length and values in that suit, and pass when he doesn't, which is not exactly what we want... I see so many bad 5 over 5's bid in games I play in or kib when neither contract had a chance to make. However, here with this much distribution this is a very clear 5♥ bid. I agree with some of the other players who say that the double sounds too much like penalty.
