Stars
Hi all --> I May be have an idea for the softwarE. When you go on a private tournament to register, there is this kind of messages :"Sorry this is a private tournamentIt's not open to the publicplease contact the tourney host for details." I think a lol of people lose lot of time when they search the host ( maybe the host offline when it created by an organisation ) Maybe possible to have a new message when we try to register ? " Sorry this is a private tourney It's not open to the publicPlease, leave a message to the host (BBO Nick) here and he'll answer you as soon as possible Message: " 95% of my tournaments are private, and always, the players register at the LAST MINUTE because they're searching me... Bye, Juan.

spwdo
one thing i think woud ne nice is the reason for beeing unable to register beeing shown, i dont know how hard this is to implement but something like " tourney is restricted to users of xxx language""you are blacklisted , contact td for further info""tourney is rectricted to country XXXXX""tourney is restricted to level XXXX""tourney is restricted to Friends of Td xxx, please contact host" And so on, but i find it when one reads the info given in tourneydescription one knows why he cant play, unfortunaly most ppl will never take one second to look at rules/info whatever, sad but thru M
Stars
Thanks marc for your answer, I knew already theses infos, thanks you anyway... But if anyone know, tell me what we need to put in the "case" where is called : " Type ". Juan, the best Marc's fan :D
inquiry
But if anyone know, tell me what we need to put in the "case" where is called : " Type ". Unless you are authorized to do so, leave the field next to "type" blank. It is my understandint that that field is used by touneys authorized by Uday/Fred... and generally are for fee-based events. Things like ACBL events and bboland. I think I read somewhere on BBO collition page to put in things like Imps, or MP, but that is not right... you pick that type of thing with the radio buttons in the middle of the create tourney page. uday
The type field is only used by organizations like LAND, ACBL, etc. It allows the creator to specify a card fee, and it is restricted to people with sufficient authority. So, leave it blank for now.
cherdano
Btw, I would much prefer if all the tourneys with "exclude custom list" would not get the lock sign in the tourney list. For the 99% of us who are not on a blacklist, it makes no difference whatsoever whether it is free or with a blacklist, and so this sign is of no value at all. Now almost all tournaments have a dollar sign or a lock sign. I think the lock sign should be reserved for really important information to the players about tournament restrictions, like country, language, level, clubmembers, etc.
