mike777
3d-- we would start with a sf 1nt if pard does not pass that then rebid 3d.
neilkaz
I'm forcing to game and would be surprised if a sim showed that some game isn't a favorite. However, many 2/1ers can pass it out at 4D if opener is min and has no fit.
VM1973
I agree. I'd bid 2♦.

You seem to play same system i do on that matter. I would definitely force to game at IMPs. But MP it is kinda borderline, but knowing myself with 7 tricks in hand (unless pd is void in diamonds) i would probably go for game bonus even at MP. Just do everything you can to let pd be the declarer in 3NT.
kgr
Thank you for the answers. Seems that there is some preference for forcing to game. The complete deal and result:MP's[hv=pc=n&n=skqxhktxxxxdxcaxx&s=s432h2dakqj742c32&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=1hp3dppp]233|200[/hv]- 3♦: 6c♦; intermediate 3♦+1 Score: 37%(When we played the deal 3 other pairs were in 3NT making.) Hearts and diamonds will be bid by your side and they are likely to find ♣ lead when they hold 8 clubs and 7 spades vs 3 NT. You could as well receive a good zero had you bid 3 NT, on a ♣ lead. Or you could be the one getting % 70 when we get % 25 if people had an easier ♣ lead vs 3 NT.
