Shouldn't it bid a slam?

I thought east showed a pretty good hand here and it has a very good hand itself. 4NT probably shows at least some extras and with west's hand, it sure doesn't need many extras to make. And it even has all the keycards but 1 so it doesn't need to worry about getting stuck in slam with too few, and it has just the right support you'd want, too, with good heart and diamond support and first round controls on the suits you likely want to keep it away from so that the first round on them is what's most important, too. Although I will admit it may be east's fault considering east seemed to think west only had 1 keycard, but west could have potentially had some 2-suited hand that was 14+ points and still only 1 keycard. Or, maybe 3 somehow limited east to 12-13 total points or something like that but I think it's just 2-suited of 5+ 5+.

It would be too hard to program the robots to try and figure out what partner is doing wrong. East obviously didn't realise the robot played 2/1 and he may well have thought he was playing simple blackwood (5 = 1 ace, trump king unknown). Sure, a human sitting West would have realised that East's bidding makes no sense, but it is too much to ask of a robot.

I have seen similar things before, the theme being that GIB assumes partner knows whether he has 1 or 4 keycards so it doesn't bid on when partner signs off and it holds 4 (or 3) keycards. I think that's a reasonable general principle. Here, East could (should?) have avoided the problem by letting West ask for keycards.

(Of course it would be even better to make the systematic rebid with the East hand. I am not sure if is would be 2NT or 3NT, but certainly not any number of diamonds).
