ehhh
 I have been able to use the bridge movie as a random hand generator after assistance from the powers to be and expertise of those in here. Now my question is: I have a file that originated from, i believe, dealmaster and I would like to be able to open it with the bridge movie (extension on the file is .pbn). Do you know if this is possible and if so how.
fred
Try the "open bridge movie on your computer" button that appears BEFORE you log in. You can use this facility to open a .pbn file. A .lin file with the same name as the .pbn file (but with a .lin extension) will be created in the same folder. You may have trouble opening some .pbn files - not all programs that create these files produce versions that our software can read. DrTodd13
What I've been doing lately is taking a .lin file and using LinConvertor to create a .pbn file and then using PSBridge to compute par results and to print out hand records. Trumpace
I am sorry if this has been asked before. How does on go about creating bridge movies like the ones in the deal of the week? I am talking about the ones in which we have commentary going on, the user can be asked to answer questions etc. Thanks.

We have "authoring software" that we used to create fancy .lin files (such as those that were used in The Deal of the Week). This software is not free. If you think you might be interested in purchasing a license, please send me an e-mail: fred@bridgebase.com You can use the Movie window to created relatively simple .lin files that contain comments, but the files that come out of it will not be as nice as the ones that appear in The Deal of the Week.
