Fluffy
vul vs not I am tempted to bid only 3♥, but I think I wouldn't. Double and if possible bid 4♥ next to show a flexible hand.

wank
double and 4h. 3h will end the auction too often when we're gin for something far more exciting.
MrAce
double and 4h. 3h will end the auction too often when we're gin for something far more exciting. Starting with double has its own risks, especially when our plan is to bid our suit god knows at which level in our next turn.
Fluffy
double would be a lot more risky if we had no double structure, like having singleton spade or diamond. But since we pretty much have support for all suits we can double again for take out if the opponents get competitive. For example I wouldn't double with 4621 for that reason. MrAce
In view of these concerns, perhaps an immediate 4♥ is worth considering? Although the suit quality is somewhat lacking. I would rather start double than 4♥. We don't have a gf hand, we don't have good enough hearts to bid 4 and we have other places to play. Suggestions are a-We can start double and then double again as Fluffy said and never show our 6 card suitb-we can start 3♥, planning to double later if auction doesn't die at 3 level (which is not that likely holding void clubs)c-we can start DBL, planning to bid hearts later.d-we can start 4♥ Imo the decision between starting 3♥ and starting double is close. We can not say this for 4♥ or double followed by another double.. I would personally eliminate out a and d right away. The decision between b and c are much closer than their distance between a and d imo. I may be convinced to start double (but definetely not double again if i start double) or definetely would not consider starting 4♥.
Fluffy
your a and c options are the same. Bidding hearts unless it comes back with 5♣.
Free
Clear 3♥ imo. You're too weak for 4♥ and Dbl is only good if you gamble on partner passing. But when he bids 3♠ you're basically screwed (Dbl then 4♥ shows considerable extras).
gszes
3h nice hand but if p is weak that means we are going to get our headshanded to us and id rather that be in my longest and strongest suitrather than something p found out back in the alley. P can alwaysdo something like xx if they hate the idea of 3hx and we can runscurry flee hopefully to the safety? of 4d and if p actually bids 3s or4d over our 3h (especially if lho does not x) we can then show ourextra power with a 4c bid. Those afraid to bid 3h apparently have very very VERY low standardsfor a 3h vul vs not overcall this hand meets mine with not much extra
