3 - 3

3N

3H = QP ask

3S = 6 QP

3N = Yes, we have an 8 card club fit... I might consider playing 4S if RA would declare 3N (Diamonds are scary)

3H--3S (C kc--14)

4C--4H (Qc ?---yes but no Ks)

4S--5C (K of D ?---yes but no extras)

-----------

method 2 is the same

-------------------

in Cclub

1C-1H

1S-1NT (15-20, S+C GF)

2C-2NT- 4135

3C-3D (C rkc-1)

3H-3Nt (Qc ?--Y but no Ks)

4C-4H (Kof D ? y but no Qs)

4S-4NT (Q of D ? no)

pass seem better than 5C to protect Kd

... 3 (shape)

3 - 3 (5-6 RP)

If we have both aces there's a likely diamond loser plus maybe club queen. If not we could be off two tricks in a number of ways. I think I'd just try 3NT here.

...-3 (shape)

3-3 (QP ask ; 6)

4/4NT/5-pass (signoff)

I said I was going to use 3NT as a relay here (start scan), so I must signoff at 4, 4NT or 5. (4 would be RKC here)

I can't just use my puppet here, since we want to investigate slam opposite 7+ QP's (K doesn't count, so we have 19 out of 22 in that case).
