Vampyr
Note that I live near Atlantic City, so there are casinos available if anyone wants to play money poker. Plenty of people are happy to play free poker.Ah right, they can't play poker for money because of gambling laws. It doesn't sound like my idea of fun, but perhaps things are different when it is the only game in town (which it isn't for you, but will be for most of the players across the country). billw55
Seeing this thread for the first time thanks to the necro. Bridge hand: I passed, and was also surprised at the unanimity. I have seen outlier votes on worse bids than a double here. Poker: any game can be played for entertainment or for money. Poker is usually played for money, but that does not mean it cannot be played for fun. I doubt that rubber bridge money players scratch their heads over free bridge, say at clubs or tournaments. How about backgammon money players? Not sure on that one.
