I have seen 2N/2M by a passed hand as 55m, 55any, as yunling suggests and just recently as showing an almost opening hand with stoppers in the M. I will do this only withhands that I would not x with because they have too little defense I also admitthat if the M is hearts I would tend to overcall 2s rather than use 2n. Hands likexx x QJxxx QJTxx or x QJxxx x QJxxxx. With these weaker and very distributionalhands there is a strong probability p is waiting for an x and we cannot afford tox with such defensive bereft hands.
