If you play strong NT, this is the hand type it was made for. It will go wrong if partner has a positional stopper in a one of you weak suits and they find the lead, and maybe not even then. If you open 1d virtually all of your future bidding will be a pain. What will you bid over 1h 1s 1n ???? how will you show p u are this strong afteropening 1d 2c 3d it just gets worse and worse, Open 1N because anything else is muchmore likely to lead to disaster.
