I am sitting there seeing that trumps are breaking badly. How bad is the double? Or is it normal? Thanks.
helene_t
the double is fine IMO.
Leo LaSota
This is nothing close to being worth a double. Zero aces; KJx of diamonds sure to be useless for the defense, three small clubs is bad for our side, ace fifth of hearts very likely on your left. I would not be surprised if they can make 5H looking at my hand. LHO could hold the ace spades instead of ace diamonds and make at least 4, possibly 5. cloa513
GIB's 1♦ is total waste of space and misleading - either 3♦ preempt or pass is the correct bid.

cloa513
I can't get GIB to takeout double when I open 1♣, opponent GIB bids 1♥ and it hold 5 hcp and 5 spades so why is 4 hcp with 7 diamonds OK.
