2 is an all eggs in one basket bid. I can think of a lot of hands where it goes 2 back to you and you might belong in spades but it's a huge risk to back into them.

 

Double first and you can pretty much fold your cards and put them in your pocket, a transfer of responsibility.

If your religious beliefs forbids a double first round, you need to bid 4 when it is your second turn.

If you think that this is crazy- I do- better rethink your religious beliefs about bidding 2 ....

Although consistency requires a man to be as ignorant today, as he was in the past, i still think such a quick enlightment in 1 day is hillarious :D
