scarcity of the 12 board mp robot tournaments?

I very much like the 12 board mp tournaments (not the classic tournaments that allow the robots to play the hands they declare). I think the winners of the 12 board mp tournaments generally win because of skill--less so with the imp tournaments and the classic mp tournaments.

 

But these tournaments seem to be offered less often now. I had hoped to play a couple of tournaments this morning but found none!

What is the deal?

p.s. I would play the 18 board tournaments which this morning were offered twice in my time zone, but hardly anyone plays those!!!

It really depends on the time of day. It's 3:30 EDT now, and there is an ACBL MP tourney with 41 tables that just started. As the day progresses, the number of players in ACBL robot tourneys increases dramatically, as more ACBL players log on, so that pretty much every one (offered every ten minutes) will have a reasonable number of players. The ones on the hour and half hour seem to be the most popular, at least in my observations.

We used to have 6 MP and 4 IMP tourneys/hour during peak hours, 4MP/2IMP during off-peak. Yesterday we evened them up: 5 of each during peak hours, 3 off-peak.

 

Peak hours are 9am-10:59pm Central Time.

I expect that the introduction of the "classic" mp tournaments (those which allow the robots to play the hands they declare) have cut into the number of non-classic mp robot tournaments that I like so well.
