Another suit combination

if you agree that 6 cards out split 4/2 more often than 3/3, then i think the odds of both the q and j being in the 4 card hand are slightly higher than them being split... for example, qjxx vs. xx is greater than qxxx vs. jx

not sure if that's true or not, but if it is i'd immediately finesse the 8.. if it loses, i'd next play the K and lead toward A, 10.. if rho follows, i'd finesse the 10

QJxx vs xx C(4, 2)= 4*3/2! = 6

Qxxx vs Jx C(4, 1) = 4

but in the context of this discussion, there's also Jxxx vs Qx

therefore , Hx doublton is 4:3 in favor given the suit split 4-2

I believe the right play is lay down King and Ace, it works on

any singlton or doublton honors or 3-3 split

low to the 9 then low to the 8. Picks up everything but QJ, QJx, and QJxx on right. king and run the 9 then run the 8 loses to QJx, QJxx, QJxxx, QJxxxx on left. So it comes down to which is more likely.

QJ or QJxxx+QJxxxx and the latter is definitely more likely so low to the 9 and low to the 8 is better.
