Right now I do this: Open hand editor and put in Cards and bids. Then I can fool around with play of the Cards and hit GIB for analyzing. I can take back Cards and try other lines etc. Great! My problem is that when I save the hand, to a folder or as a link, then I cannot change the Cards played anymore. I cannot tabeback Cards or play Cards. Anyway I can do this? FM75 Posted June 20, 2013 Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Maybe at a teaching table with 4 confederates playing the hand. Then you might see the "GIB" play at each step. Better is to open the hand in Double Dummy Solver (a free piece of software available on the bridge captain website. IT allows you to change the contract, change the declarer take back one card or all of them, and shows you what cards lead to the most tricks for the declarer and what cards lead to the fewest tricks for declarer, all on a card-by-card.
