DonFree
Hi, Recently (maybe after upgrading to IE 10?) the GIB in handviewer does not work for me on this computer. It is available to be "pressed", but does not produce any result. I am using Java 7, update 21. If I turn on debug I see the following error message: Line: 1 Error: Unable to get property '0' of undefined or null reference. If I go further it says: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property '0' of undefined or null reference handviewer.js, line 1 character 183635. The highlighted section of the script is "{if(deck[suit][c]>=0&&deck[suit][c]!=whosTurn)". ThanksDon

To do this, you will see a little icon on the address bar next to the reload symbol (hour glass, pull down arrow to see the whole address, compatibility mode icon, reload icon, then all the tabs). Click that little guy. When you actually open a hand with handviewer the only icon on the address bar is this compatibility thing... so click that then click GIB again. Good luck
barmar
I am using Java 7, update 21.We don't use Java at all. The web version of BBO uses Flash and Javascript, Handviewer just uses Javascript. (Javascript and Java have little in common except similar names, which was due to marketing issues when they were both being developed at Sun Microsystems.) Good luck That was indeed the problem. Not sure if things changed or not, but choosing compatiblility mode on IE10 was a little different. One needed to press F12 and then under BrowserMode, choose IE 10 Compatibility View. ThanksDon
