Guest Jlall Posted January 7, 2005 Report Share Posted January 7, 2005 interesting combo: IF you lead the ace first and the T or 9 drops on your left, you should lead low to the jack next (KT9/T9 are more likely than T or 9). So Ace and low to jack is better than ace then hook. Leading the Jack first loses to T9xx, T, 9, or K on left, but it now picks up KT9xx or KT9x. So both lose to stiff T or stiff 9, so the question is which is more likely... KT9x/KT9xx or T9xx/K...the answer is the former. So start by leading the jack (if it loses to the king lead the ace next obviously). I also tried low to the queen, and low towards the jack, got some interesting results but leading the jack from hand is the best line. Are you sure ?I think you are wrong, 10,9,k, or 109xx are 4 combos of 4-1 while KT9xx or KT9xare 3 combos of 4-1 and 1 combo of 5-0, so the first is more likely, isnt it ?
