sheilafran
We play a big club system opening hand was Jx Qxx AKxx AKxx bidding went 1c 1h (truscott showing hearts and spades in 5/5) Partner had Kxxx Ax xxx QJxx What is the bid? If fact my partner doubled to show 8+ points, so now I have a dilemma At the table the bidding went 1C 1H X P2D 2H (asking for hearts stopper) P 3NT making Any thoughts about what should happen

So perhaps your partner should have bid 2♠, and then you could bid 2NT (not 3NT, which should show a better hand unless you play that the jump denies slam interest). Free
I would probably just bid 1NT with your partner's hand, showing a GF hand with stops in both suits (unless 1NT shows something different).
dake50
3Nt should be set.
