If you are only concerned about alerted opening bids/basic reply bids, then this is pretty quick and easy. FD will automatically alert your bids based on what you put in for the meaning. There is a sub-forum below this one a little ways that is designated for it. :)Lately the ACBL directors are saying full disclosure card does not take the place of an alert. and could face penalty for not alerting.reason full disclosure "descriptions" do no show up as alerts when look at the board after it has been played. the director says he cant see the alert. and lastly the description sometimes doesn't show up for opposition(I don't see how that is possible but that's what director said) from my stand point a full disclosure card is potentially a lot of work and I think it is unfair because your partner sees the description which doesn't happen when partner alerts his bid Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is another to have your bidding screen covered with an explanation of a standard 1♣ opening bid and routine responses. One gets so desensitized to seeing the explanations for run-of-the-mill ordinary calls that when a call that is unusual comes along, you don't notice it. I am completely in favor of taking the full disclosure program and burying it at sea. Question: Does the partner of the bidder really see the explanations provided by the full disclosure card?
