1eyedjack
For those interested, the stand-alone Double Dummy Solver program available from Bridge Captain has recently been updated to version (at the time of typing) 9.31 (previous public stable release version 8.85). Download page is here:http://www.bridge-captain.com/downloadDD.html There is not a massive change in the front end interface (there are a few tweaks). Most of the changes are in the guts. For those unfamiliar, it runs under Windows. I have no idea whether it would run under a Windows emulator. I would expect it to but untested (by me). From past experience it would not surprise me if we get a flurry of minor maintenance releases over the course of the next few weeks, so maybe worthwhile checking back to the download page periodically, as there is no "check for updates" function within the program. I thought long and hard about the appropriate subforum in which to post this message and settled on General BBO Discussion, based on the program's close ties to BBO MyHands database.

Thank you 1eyedjack. Wonderul program. Quibble: Windows installer says version 8 although the installed version is 9.3, as you say.

It is (mostly?) a frontend to the DDS library, which is multi platform.
