No sound

HELP PLEASE

 

I have a new computer with Windows 8, and have downloaded BBO.

The sound won't work.

I have disinstalled twice, and reinstalled.

I have put a x in the sound box, and underlined in blue the fonctions that

I want the sound for but still nothing.

It's not easy to play in a Tourney without sound, and I am hoping that someone

will know what to do, to put me out of my misery.

I have version BBO 5.2.21

Have you solved your pb ?

A friend of mine has got the same pb I tried to solved it.

It worked for a while but again no sound and the solution I used does not

help any more. This is strange.

BBO without sound.

I have Win10 Pro last version.

I already had sound.

I assume the cause was any windows update.

One possibility is that you have accidentally muted the BBO site.

This can be done(undone) in chrome by right-clicking and then clicking the 'mute site' ('unmute site') option that appears when you right click on the tab.

If this is what's happened you might see a little microphone symbol with a line through it on the tab.

 

Or:

the volume is turned down

you suddenly went deaf and didn't notice

you have plugged in earphones and forgotten

etc etc
