mangurian
I was wondering how difficult it would be to convert the proliferating interactive bridge CDs to work from files stored either in the cloud or in tablet memory (IOS, Android, preferable both). It would be a hoot to be able learn from Lawrence, Cohen, Kantar et. al. while sitting in an easy chair or when away from home. I would definitely pay for tablet versions of these lessons. barmar
Making it run on the tablets would be a great deal of work, the application would have to be totally rewritten. We've tested running Learn to Play Bridge in the cloud in browsers -- we had a link to it on our home page for a few days last summer or fall. It was so popular that it overloaded the limited server that we'd rented for it. Before we do this for real, we'll need to investigate how to control the usage and cost. We were doing this in browsers, I'm not sure if the same technology also works for tablets (it might have depended on Flash, I'm not sure).
