If trumps are 2-1 but no king, duck a club. If trumps are 3-0 continue trumps. If they do not switch to diamonds, duck a club. If they switch to diamonds, duck. Then win the continuation and run trumps hoping for an unlikely minor suit squeeze by keeping diamonds in dummy.On some continuations like a second diamond you can use a third trump to dummy to ruff the third diamond before running trumps, improving your chances.
