billw55
Every bid was done with little hesitation.Of course I ignore partner's tempo and make my choice based only on the calls made. That choice is pass. Bidding again could cause us to go -200 or -500 against a partscore, or push them into a making game they weren't bidding on their own. Best case, we could make 4♣ while they are making 3♠, losing 7. That's a pretty small target, and this hand is pretty bad for five trumps: no shortness, possibly worthless ♠K. Also there is partner's pass to consider.
lexlogan
Obvious pass IMO. Why chase them into a game? Our only defense is the possibly dead K♠; there is virtually no chance we can make 5♣; 4♣ offers them a fielder's choice -- bid game or double for blood. relknes
Pass. If you were going to bid 4♣ the time to do it was your first call (assuming that's preemptive in your system).
