Lead?

I think I would lead ace of hearts. The king is probably on my left a lot on this auction IMO since LHO likely has long bad clubs (short diamonds and good enough to GF opposite a balance but no bid over 1?), and ace of diamonds lead seems to set up discards for them. I might need to set up another heart trick before that happens. Ace of diamonds also runs the risk that dummy is void.

I don't like the A lead. LHO didn't overcall, yet he has a splinter. His partner quickly signs off so he probably has values in . I wouldn't be surprised if LHO has a void and a poor 5 card suit in a 5404 distribution. Moreover, when you lead A and it holds, then what? Lead another one right into declarer's KJT? I'd probably lead K.

i echo the heart A here maybe not for the same reason though---i have 4 potential tricks in my hand possibly 5 the problem

is the bidding has a great chance of allowing declarer to play double dummy. The heart lead has the best chance of standing

up at trick 1 and allowing me to better decide how many tricks my hand might take. If the spade A is to my left and a dia

void it may be time to take desparate measures and swith to the club K hoping against hope p has the A and can give me

a ruff. The heart ace allows me to judge which course of action will probably succeed failing only in the few instances

where leading the heart A itself was a killer for the defense. A dia or a club at trick 1 might easily be fatal and a safe look

at dummy might have allowed us to avoid either switch.
