This hand is one that I honestly have no idea how to show, but I took a shot and made. Lord Molyb Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 I would draw trumps (assuming not 5-0, then contract is impossible) then cash three top hearts and the king of diamonds.Most likely RHO is something like 1-2-2-8 or 1-3-1-8 or 2-2-1-8. If he follows to 4 or 5 major suit cards then I finesse the diamonds but if he follows to only three I might play for the drop. Even if diamonds break 4-0, I can discard two hearts on the two minor suit aces if LHO has the diamonds.He should have at least 8 clubs because LHO did not raise. Remember to thank east for pointing out the bst lead for our side. Also important, keep ♥10x in dummy, ♥J can be singleton.
