Fluffy
♠8654♥AQJ106♦J108♣5 opps vul, partner deals, MPS pass-(1NT)-??
Free
I'd bid 2♣ because I have both Majors and I think you're suggesting 2♥ isn't natural ;) . Even so, playing 2♠ in a 4-3 fit may be quite exciting.
rmnka447
Pass. It's a 8 loser hand that just too many given the length of the long suits.
Fluffy
I bid 2♦= hearts, 2♥ made comfortably when both majors break break and ♥K was onside, partner has 3-3 in the majors so most likelly 2♣ gets you to 2♥ as well (but from the wrong side). Passing 1NT would lead to -90 most often. Passing is really bad IMO.

gwnn
I would show hearts here, probably the first time I do this. Interesting hand.
P_Marlowe
In general I would show the majors. 2C promises 5-4, or could be 4-4? If 54, showing both majors will ensure, you end up in your best fit.If 2C could be 44, than showing both risks ending up in the 4-3 insteadof the 5-2. The advantage of showing hearts only, is if you end up defending and partner is on lead.
Fluffy
How do the opponents do in three of a minor? pretty badly, partner had ♦Qxx and ♣AJ10x http://www.aebridge.com/ArchivosResultados/2013-01-15%20%20IV%20TORNEO%20INTERNACIONAL%20DE%20BRIDGE%20DE%20BARCELONA%20-%20Sesi%C3%B3n%201%20-%200026%20-%20_%20-%20Final%20result,%20score%20tables%20ordered%20by%20table.pdf board
JLOGIC
I like what you did, I would also show hearts. Agreed that passing is really bad white at MP.
