  1. 1. your bid

    • a bid that shows hearts only

I bid 2= hearts, 2 made comfortably when both majors break break and K was onside, partner has 3-3 in the majors so most likelly 2 gets you to 2 as well (but from the wrong side). Passing 1NT would lead to -90 most often. Passing is really bad IMO.

How do the opponents do in three of a minor?

In general I would show the majors.

2C promises 5-4, or could be 4-4?

If 54, showing both majors will ensure, you end up in your best fit.

If 2C could be 44, than showing both risks ending up in the 4-3 instead

of the 5-2.

The advantage of showing hearts only, is if you end up defending and partner

is on lead.
