bsm20
In a goulash competition an opponent ([name redacted]) raised 1 Spade to 7 Spades, holding: sp: 42hts: 76dmds: K964clubs KQ732 Lets Goulash #9095 25th Jan. 2013 When this made, redoubled, he posted LOL. I felt very suspicious. I complained to the tournament host, only to be told it was a goulash. Am I over reacting? TylerE
Honestly, looks like just a random idiot. Had just gone for 1100 in 7♦ on the previous hand, and his averages over the last month are well below average (44.69% on MP hands, -2.4 imps/bd at imps)
aguahombre
Children do that...the LOL part, since they are being taught no manners or concern for anyone's feelings but their own. Doesn't matter whether the game is Bridge, Poker, or whatever. Also doesn't matter whether the child is 11 or 35.
Bbradley62
If you want to report this, the proper way to do so is to email abuse@bridgebase.com. It is unusual behavior for someone who just joined BBO this week. Maybe abuse will find some sort of history. It's also very unlikely that he was in cahoots with his partner, since the offender joined the tournament as a sub in the fourth round of eight. TylerE
putting his name here goes against the rules Does it really matter? Given the final contract and myhands it takes less than 5 seconds to find the hand and all 4 players.
bsm20
Thanks for the replies.I felt annoyed at the time, but now I'm having regrets about posting this. I think I'm just an old fashioned player who loves the game, and thinks it, partner and opponents should be treated with respect.Sorry for giving the name. This is my first ever post on this site. Thanks once again.
