ewj
Hi I am going to have to be living temporarily at a relative's house. They don't have the internet but I am considering getting a dongle for the month. Does anybody have any idea what sort of data usage BBO gets through? I would have a 5GB limit - any ideas whether that would be any good? Cheers, Ed
mgoetze
I would doubt that using BBO gets you even in the vicinity of 0.1GB, much less 5GB.
wank
i have a 15gb one from 3. it lasts me the month normally and you can imagine what i'm doing with it is rather more data intensive than BBO. you could also try seeing if you're in range of a BT openzone street wifi network - they're unlimited. barmar
I agree with mgoetze. I work from home via the Internet, and do lots of file transfers to BBO's servers, and my total last month was about 8GB, but in many months I've been only 3-5GB. Playing on BBO is only a tiny fraction of it. In general, you only get into the GB's when you do lots of large file transfers or video downloads/streaming. Playing games does not use lots of bandwidth.
