I went by odd/even day of the month, but it would have been different had I gone by odd/even day of the year. Obv. I play IJOs at this vulnerability, so I bid 3♥ instead of doubling. Having doubled, however, I find that I have an easy 5♥ bid now. True, partner could have ♦AK and a singleton spade and we would be missing slam but that is just too optimistic. I don't particularly plan on selling out because we have either the values (x, xxxx, AQxx, KQxx) or shape (x, xxxxxx, Qxxx, Ax is bad but still has play!) for slam and they're making an obnoxious amount of spades as well.
