This is possibly just bad bridge since I seem to be in the minority (or others where preempted by Jlogic answer :)). I have always underestimated the value of 9 of clubs ... Phil Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 Perhaps its my own dataset but whenever I pass with this hand type it almost always works out well, even though I sweat it at. I have a lot outside of spades and I'd be pretty surprised if they wrapped it. +200 happens about 6 in 10 times and you sometimes get a 500 when declarer gets handlocked.
