akhare
[hv=pc=n&e=sajt9763h754dq7ck&d=w&v=b&b=4&a=p2h(Flannery)ppp]133|200[/hv]I might have bid 3 spades but I figured I'd play it doubled opposite a passed partner (RHO has 4 spades, right?) For most people, 3♠ over a regular 2♥ preempt would show a strong hand with ♠. Also, without explicit agreement, the meaning of the bid in the Flannery context might be open to interpretation. For example, it might show a running minor suit with a spade stopper and might ask partner for a ♥ stopper (or the other way around). Regardless, a trump lead seems like a standout... P_Marlowe
Hi, If you bid, you bid 2S, why would you want to play 3S? Pass is ok, now lead a trump, you have spade tricks to protect, even if you dont like trump leads, this is a clear cut / text book situation. With kind regardsMarlowe
