ah33
Dear Sir,I have a proposition to your management. To introduce into your system the possibility to use Skype with your partner, for those players who are interested and have the Skype software in their computer. This feature may add many new players and improve the whole system. Of course any conversation with your partner is strictly forbidden.Sincerely yours ,Andrew (ah33)
Bbradley62
Can't two players who have Skype on their computers use Skype and BBO at the same time, without having to incorporate the two? Assuming of course, that there's no communication
TylerE
I'd rather BBO flag any account that is actively using Skype while playing.
barmar
I'd rather BBO flag any account that is actively using Skype while playing.I don't think there's a way for a web application to know what other applications you're running on your PC. And I bet many people just leave Skype, or other IM applications (AIM, iChat, Yahoo Messenger, etc.), running all the time when they're logged in, so that they can receive messages from their friends (totally unrelated to bridge). Requiring them to turn these off would be the online equivalent of expecting them to unplug their phones. While this is normal when you go to a bridge club or tournament, it's an unreasonable expectation for people playing at home.
