Try for Slam After Opponents Open and Bid 2/1

We all see some strange bidding with the GIB robots on some hands, but this one is one of my favorites:

 

Tournament 5080, Board 12:

 

Bidding goes 1S (LHO) - Pass - 2D (RHO, 2/1) - 2H - 3C - 4H - Pass - Pass - Double - Pass - Pass - Redouble - Pass - 4nt!!! (Blackwood from Partner).

 

I just cannot see any justification for the redouble showing 25 to 31 total points and partner then bidding blackwood after the opponents have opened, bid 2/1, and I have already passed 4H.

 

This was from an imp game and I believed 4H could be made. Indeed, the hand makes 4H :(

i find that GIB always wants to bid game or bid at the 3 level

when you are a passed hand and make a cappeletti call as a passed hand

of course this doesnt happen in best hand tournies

Fixed in next version(v26).

 

Over 2/1 auction, hand of overcaller is limited to 16TP and even if you later redouble or raise to 5♥ or similar, the hand will remain 11-16TP, so GIB won't freak out.
