Your partner is a good theorist and would expect to play unusual vs unusual style here.2) If I force the first double on you, do you agree with the second pass?3) Do you double 4S when it comes back to you? Fluffy
double is finepassing 3♥ is fine, parner is a grown man who can bid games by himself, we have nothing in the redsdouble 4♠ looks obvious to me
the hog
X4H - how can partner know I have this in support?x
PhilKing
1) Double2) Pass. My double was for take-out - unusual against unusual does not apply here. Partner has a minimum and suits are breaking badly.3) Double. The force should be with us. It's odd that partner only bid 3♥ with a shapely hand. I don't think that's right when he could be doing it on a balanced 11-count. Perhaps he's not as up on his theory as I thought.
