In the above diagram, as I showed a slam-level major two-suiter, the robot proceeded to bid 3♣, 5♣, 6♣, and finally 7♣ on a 7-card suit headed by the J987 with just two other Jacks in the hand. Highly uncooperative, particularly considering doubleton Jack support for my first bid suit. I think I should have jumped to 6♥ rather than bidding 5♠ in the auction, but there is no way the robot should have called 6♣ over the 5♠ bid or 7♣ over my 6♥ correction. pigpenz
from other threads if you had opened two clubs and rebid 2nt it probably would have passed
Bbradley62
The problem on this hand is GIB's description of your 3♠ bid.[hv=lin=pn|CoreyCole,~~M30799,~~M30797,~~M30798|st%7C%7Cmd%7C3S23TQAH589TQKADKC%2CS567H2D6TJQAC6TQK%2CS48JH6JD2C245789J%2C%7Crh%7C%7Cah%7CBoard%205%7Csv%7Cn%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C2C%7Can%7CStrong%20two%20club%20--%2019%2B%20HCP%3B%2023%2B%20total%20po%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C2D%7Can%7C2D%20bid%20waiting%20--%2011-%20HCP%3B%2012-%20total%20points%3B%20forcing%20to%202N%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C2H%7Can%7COpener%5C%27s%20suit%20--%205%2B%20H%3B%2019%2B%20HCP%3B%2023%2B%20tota%7Cmb%7Cd%7Can%7CTakeout%20double%20--%203%2B%20C%3B%203%2B%20D%3B%202-%20H%3B%203%2B%20S%3B%2014%2B%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7C3C%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%202-%20H%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%202-12%20total%20points%3B%20forcing%20to%203H%20%7Cmb%7C3D%7Can%7C5%2B%20D%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%207-12%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7C3S%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%205%2B%20H%3B%2029%2B%20total%20points%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C5C%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%202-%20H%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%203-%208421%20HCP%20in%20C%3B%204-12%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7C5D%7Can%7C5%2B%20D%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%207-12%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7C5S%7Can%7CCue%20bid%20--%204%2B%20C%3B%205%2B%20H%3B%207-%208421%20HCP%20in%20H%3B%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C6C%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%202-%20H%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%203-%208421%20HCP%20in%20C%3B%204-12%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C6H%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%205%2B%20H%3B%207-%208421%20HCP%20in%20H%3B%208%2B%208421%20HC%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C7C%7Can%7C4%2B%20C%3B%202-%20H%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%203-%208421%20HCP%20in%20C%3B%209-12%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cpc%7C]360|270[/hv]GIB thinks that since West's bid showed spades, your spade bid must be a cue bid showing support for partner's clubs, and absurd strength. So, GIB thinks that after you "agreed to clubs", he tried to sign off in 5♣, but you kept bidding.
