Partner's hand was: ♠Axx♥x♦KQJxxx♣xxx The 2♥ contract made; we can make 4♦ or 1♠ double-dummy... probably can make 2♠ on realistic defense. Note that at BAM scoring even down one is better than allowing 2♥ to make (unless we get doubled, which is not too likely) and bidding might also push opponents to 3♥ failing. At the other table, our teammates mis-defended 3♠ making, so we weren't really winning this board. Still, our result seemed quite poor and it would be nice to get a plus score.
