32519
This was a completely random deal. East opened 2♣ promising 22+ HCP. South, completely bored, decided to bid 2♠ on this dreck intending to escape into 3♣ after the expected double. This was the hand:[hv=pc=n&s=s86532hq2dck87532&w=sq9h963dq876543c9&n=skt74h854d9cajt64&e=sajhakjt7dakjt2cq&d=e&v=e&b=6&a=2c(22+)2s(Nuisance%20bid%2C%20NV)p4s(Raising%20the%20ante)dppp]399|300[/hv]West led the singleton ♣9 won with the Ace in dummy. Declarer led the ♠4 from dummy at trick 2. East went up with the Ace expecting the ♠Q in declarer's hand. Now the contract was home, albeit fortuitous. Codo
So south got a good board after finding a double fit and at least one opp who do not know what a double of 4 ♠ shows. Yes these things happen.

With kind regardsMarloweThat's hardly a consideration when playing in a green mode over a strong opening. South has to hold a wildly distributional hand with few HCP, North should redouble to let South know whether to move over the double. East double is inconsidered- assuming West can double some HCP definitely with an ace then East should bid 4NT to say two places to place and West easily pop in with 5D.
