jillybean
How's this for a crazy outcome... CSGibson
what was the defense? I don't really see one that would allow you to make it, but maybe I'm imagining things.
Codo
They just need to never touch clubs and you have 5 spades, 4 hearts and two diamonds... easy..
gwnn
pass of 5♠ is interesting, I wish all my brain farts made half as much sense. You know you are two keycards so rather than hope for some misdefence by opps, you can legitimately try to make 5S, which you did :) OK that was a misdefence too but there are other layouts where it is cold. I don't agree with 4NT though.

TWO4BRIDGE
I'm having greater difficulty working out your reason for bidding 2♠.Limit raise+ for ♥. The greater difficulty is the reason for bidding 4NT ( RKC ) after Opener's sign-off . [ps. EDIT: This hand is a poster child for 4S! = kickback RKC ] . jillybean
No need to promote kickback to me.

EDIT: This hand is a poster child for 4S! = kickback RKC ] . This hand is a poster child for using good judgment and passing 4♥. You have a limit raise, and all of it is in a suit that partner is assumed to be short in. Bidding on is very poor.
lalldonn
Kickback? Ty CGibson, all this hand is a posterchild for other than a good story is not-overbidding.

EDIT: This hand is a poster child for 4S! = kickback RKC ] .I guess the way I stated it ( because of the post script EDIT ) , my intended objection was obscured -- namely that RKC should NOT have been bid in the first place... but "if the spirit moved you" to do so, then kickback would "save you" in the 2+Q reply .
