How many different ways do you need to show support? How does partner suggest interest in doubling them?

a raise at the 2 level covers you between 2 and 3 losers, an invitational range covers you more, but partner doesn't have either, he has a good raise that should cover between 2.5 and 3 losers.

 

We lose ♠A, ♥6, ♦104 + the king half the time, +♣Q4, for a total of 6.5, partner covers 2.5 wich leaves us with 4 losers normally. Given that we didn't take into account the power of ♦10 or ♣Q it is possible that we have a chance on making game but it is not a good bet and I would pass.

I would pass and think this is obvious, but that's based on my understand of what a 3S bid looks like. Your partner may have different views.

I think 3S is a pre-emptive raise, so something like

Agree with Frances, it is too simple to warrant the analysis Fluffy gives it. If 3♥ is invitational, 3♠ is not. I would accept an invitation, but I am not stronger than that.
